Name: Parker Grimm
Role Model: My role model is my grandfather Frank. Throughout my life he has always showed me the importance of helping others, and how that can have such a big impact on me. He tries to help any way he can, whether it is helping a family member or a stranger, all he wants is to help those around him. I have also learned from him how important it is to share with your loved ones and create unforgettable memories. Throughout my childhood he has always been at every sporting and school event, cheering me and my sister on. He always puts family first and does anything he has to do for them which is something I find to be extremely important and admirable. He is someone I have always looked up to from a young age and I still do to this day.
Teacher with the most impact: A teacher that has had the most impact on me would be Mr. Labush. Mr. Labush was my Collegiate Writing teacher as well as my Psychology and Film teacher freshman and sophomore year. Out of all of the classrooms I have been in in Shore Regional, his is the one I am going to remember the most. Mr. Labush is a teacher that has always given me another perspective to think about. He is someone who really makes you think about what you are talking about and the impact those words have on other people. He is not only a genuine person, but someone that has impacted the way I look at things and how they effect me and everyone around me.
Another teacher that has had the most impact on me is my sophomore year 3D Art teacher Mrs. Bertolami. Mrs. Bertolami is a teacher that taught me the importance of being proud of myself no matter what I do. As an art student I tended to get angry with myself when projects did not come out to my liking. Mrs. Bertolami was always telling me that I did a good job and that I should be proud of what I was able to get accomplished and all of the new things I was able to apply to my art that I never knew before. After leaving her class I am now not so hard on myself. Instead of putting myself down, I now praise myself for giving an effort and doing the best I can. I would not have been able to change my mentality if it had not been for learning from Mrs. Bertolami each and everyday.
What do you like most about Shore Regional? The best thing about Shore Regional is the fact that it is a small school, so everyone knows each other. When I go down the school hallways, I say "hello" to almost 5 students and teachers in between classes. I like the fact that we all know each other because it makes for a better high school experience.
Activities: In terms of athletics, I am involved in Varsity Girls Soccer, and Varsity Winter and Spring Track at Shore. I am also apart of F.C. Copa Soccer Academy. In terms of academics and clubs I am apart of the Interact Club and the Conquer Cancer Club, as well as being a high honor roll student.
Future Goals/Plans: In ten years I see myself being successful while doing something that I love and enjoy. If I do not love what I do then I feel their is no point in doing it. I want to make my parents proud of the decisions I make and hope they will be proud of me in the future.

Role Model: A role model that I look up to would have to be my older sister, Carolyn. Although we fight as much as often as not, I have the upmost respect for her because of the challenges that she has faced throughout her life and she still manages to get up every day and maintain the positive attitude that she does. Carolyn tore her ACL twice and has had three total knee surgeries and is still mentally tough enough to tackle each and every day with her eyes looking forward, not dwelling on the past. I strive to be as mentally tough and as determined as she is to be her best, no matter what has happened in the past.
Teacher with the most impact: The teachers that have had the most impact on me throughout high school are Mr. Mullarney and Mr. Rankin. Mr Mullarney was my Honors Chemistry teacher my sophomore year and is currently my AP Chemistry teacher, as well as one of my freshmen football coaches. He has taught me many life lessons as well as the roots of Chemistry that sometimes seem impossible. He has guided me through high school each year, has always been a teacher that I can turn to for help, and he treats me like a son.
Mr Rankin was my Quarterback and Linebacker coach on the football team and was my Gym teacher for the first semester this year, although he is everywhere in the school at the same time. No matter what kind of day it has been Mr Rankin always finds a way to get the best out of me. He always inspires me to have a positive attitude and has always been a guy that I can turn to for help, no matter what.
What do you like most about Shore Regional? What I like about Shore Regional High School is the culture. No matter what, there are always familiar faces and people who you can turn to when needed. Even in the hardest of classes, the teachers make learning more enjoyable and less stressful, which provides better results.
Activities: I am enrolled in AP Chemistry and AP Lang/Comp, and I take IB History as well. I am currently playing three varsity sports at Shore Regional. I am a captain of the boys lacrosse team, I am going to be a senior captain of the football team and I wrestle. I am a Junior Representative on the Student Council and I have been the Vice President of the Class of 2022 for the past two years. I am a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and I am currently involved in Shore youth athletic programs volunteer coaching.
Future Goals/Plans: There is no guarantee to what life will look like in ten years, especially with what has happened in the past 18 months, but I would like to see myself graduated from a University with a degree after playing a Division I sport. I would like to obtain a job close to home and create personal relationships with people who will be a positive influence and push me to be my best. My main goal to be as successful as I can be no matter where I may end up.
