    Pepsny Name: Brianna Pepsny

    Grade: 11

Role Model: My parents are most definitely my role models. Although they are not perfect, they always encourage me to do the right thing and treat others the way I want to be treated. They support my decisions and teach me how to fix my mistakes. They are ambitious, kind, and have a great work ethic.

Teacher with the most impact: Throughout my school years, I have found that my eighth grade science teacher has had the biggest impact on me, Mrs.Martinez. Mrs.Martinez always encouraged my to try my hardest and do well in school. Before her class I did not care what my grades were or if I did well on a quiz or test. But after having her, she made me realize that the grades I get in school are going to impact the rest of my life because they determine where I can go to college. She was one of the best teachers that I have had because she got students excited to learn and taught the material until everyone understood it.

What do you like most about Shore Regional? I love the sports at Shore Regional. Throughout my career here, I have participated in many. From softball freshman year to cross country junior year, I always enjoyed playing them. I am definitely not the best athlete, but the coaches always encourage me to do the best I can and try my hardest.

Activities:  So far this year I have participated in Cross Country, Winter Track, Interact, and Yearbook club. Participating in these activities allows me to relieve stress from school work and meet new people.

Future Goals/Plans: In ten years I see myself working hard to maintain my first real job and saving up for my first home. I hope to be strong and be able to provide for the people close to me. I also hope that I stay fit, am able to face my problems head on, and feel accomplished with my career.

    Lin Name:  Jonathan Lin

    Grade: 12

Role Model: My role model is my uncle, Ben. He never stops investigating on problem-solving skills. He taught me that when a problem occurs, don't over complicate yourself. One would need to understand the composition and structure of it then approach the problem in the most simple and creative ways.

Teacher with the most impact: Every teacher I had has a significant impact on my life. The teachers that have had the most impact on me are Mrs.Bahrs(English) and Mrs.Ensor(English). As an English second language student, English had always been the biggest obstacle of my life. Mrs.Bahrs and Mrs.Ensor had helped me to improve my understanding of the mechanism of the English Language. Their teaching showed me a new perspective on languages and the strong relations between Liberal Arts and Science.

What do you like most about Shore Regional? What I like best about Shore Regional High School is that it provides students with endless opportunities such as IB and AP courses.

Activities:  Currently, I'm taking 4 A.P and 1 IB courses. I'm the captain of the Shore Chess Team, representative of the student council, member of our Math Team and National Honor Society.

Future Goals/Plans:  In 10 years, I hope to see myself involved in a career that I am passionate about.
