    Vanessa Pizzulli Hasson, a 2001 graduate earned twelve varsity letters in field hockey, basketball and softball.  During her scholastic softball career, Vanessa was an All Shore 3rd Team selection as a sophomore, an All Division, All State Group I 1st Team selection as a junior and an All Shore 1st Team player as a senior.

    It was in Field Hockey where Vanessa truly shined.  As a sophomore, she was named to the 1st Team All Shore and All County Teams.  As a junior, she as again a 1st Team All Shore and All County player as well as being named to the 1st Team All State and a STX/NFHCA Mid-Atlantic Regional All-American.

    In her senior season, Vanessa repeated as a 1st Team All Shore and All County player and again being named to the STX/NFHCA All-American Team.  She was also the Shore Conference Player of the Year. Vanessa recorded 83 career assists, was the team MVP in ’98, ’99, & ’00 and her number was retired.

    Vanessa participated in the Futures Program, National Indoor Tournament and National Field Hockey Festival.

    Upon graduation, Vanessa attend Villanova University where she continued her education and field hockey career.  She was named a Big East Academic All Star during her four years and was a NFHCA Division I Academic All Star in ’02, ’03, & ’04.  Vanessa was named to the 2nd Team All Big East Team in ‘02 and the 1st Team in ’03 & ’04. Vanessa was cited as a Mid-Atlantic 2nd Team All-American in ’03 & ’04.

    Vanessa was named to the North/South Senior All -Star Game, received the prestigious Sister Mary Margaret Crippen Award for being the Outstanding Female Athlete at Villanova University in 2004 and is second All Time in career assists. Vanessa is an Assistant Principal in the Central Bucks School District.
