    Meredith Pizzulli Chavlovich
     
    Meredith Pizzulli Chavlovich, a 1997 graduate, won Varsity Letters in four sports.  A three -year letter winner in soccer, she scored a career 64 goals with 24 assists with a game high of 6 goals in one game while being named to the Monmouth County All Division Team. She was unable to compete in her senior year as soccer was moved to the fall from the spring.
     
    It was in field hockey that Meredith made her mark on the Shore scene.  As a sophomore, she was named to the 3rd Team All Shore.  In her junior year, Meredith was named to the 1st Team All Shore and Associated Press 1st Team All State.
     
    In her final season at Shore, Meredith was again a 1st Team All Shore and Associated Press All State performer.  She was the Shore Conference Player of the Year, and named to the Mid Atlantic Regional All- American Team.  Meredith’s number was retired.
     
    During her scholastic years, Meredith participated in the Garden State Games, USFA National Futures Tournament, National Indoor Tournament and the National Field Hockey Festival while being named a B Camp Alternate.  Meredith was a member of the USFHA Select International Tournament team in ’94 & ’95.
     
    Upon graduation, Meredith attended Rutgers University and continued her field hockey career and as a freshman was named to the Big East All Rookie Team. During her sophomore and junior years, she was named to the 2nd Team All Big East and 2nd Team Regional All -American Team. In her final season at Rutgers, Meredith was again a 2nd Team All Big East performer and Regional All- American.  She was a Big East Academic All Star, a participant in the National North/South All Star Game, was the Rutgers MVP and Scholar Athlete.  Meredith finished her career 5th in career assists and 10th in points. (goals + assists) Meredith has continued her athletic challenges running the New York Marathon six times, Boston Marathon two times and the Jersey Shore Marathon three times.
