    Melissa Lehman, a 2004 graduate, was an outstanding three sport athlete during her scholastic career earning 11 varsity letters. As a freshman, Melissa was named to the All Division basketball team.

    During her sophomore year, she was an All Division basketball player, a 2nd Team All Shore and All Division soccer player and a member of the 3rd Team All Shore lacrosse team.  Melissa’s accolades continued in her junior year as she was named to the 3rd Team All Shore basketball team, the 2nd Team All Shore soccer team and the 1st Team All Shore lacrosse team during a season where she scored 72 goals with 66 assists.

    In her final year at Shore, Melissa was an All Division basketball player for the fourth time, and a 3rd Team All Shore soccer team player.  As a lacrosse player, she was one of the best in the state.  A 1st Team All Shore and All State player, Melissa scored 75 goals with 37 assists and was third overall in total points.  She finished her career with 207 goals and 138 assists, received All-American honors, and had her jersey retired.  During her four years, Shore won two Shore Conference Championships.

    Upon graduation, Melissa attend the University of Pennsylvania and in her senior year was an IWLCA 3rd Team All American, and IWLCA All Mid -Atlantic Region 1st Team member.  Melissa was named to the All-Ivy 1st team and as a junior received All Ivy League Honorable Mention.  As a team captain, she led the team to the 2008 NCAA National Finals.

    In 2009, Melissa became an assistant coach Brown University and from 2009-2018 was an assistant at her alma mater. 

    In 2019, Melissa was named the Head Women’s Lacrosse Coach at Rutgers University.
