    Bill Dennis, a 2000 graduate, was one of the most accomplished and record setting swimmers in Shore Regional history.  An 1st Team All Shore performer in all four years of competition, Bill left Shore as a multiple school record holder.

    In Bill’s freshmen year, he was 1st Team All Shore in the 200 Individual Medley and was a Top 16 swimmer in the 15-18 Junior Olympics.  He placed 6th in the 200 IM and 100 Breaststroke at the Eastern Zone Championships.

    As a sophomore, Bill was the All Shore 200 IM selection winning the event at the Shore Conference Championship Meet.

    In his junior year, again an All Shore selection in the 100 Breaststroke, he won   the Shore Conference Meet and in doing so set a new meet record.  At the Monmouth County Championships, Bill won the 100 Breaststroke as he set a new meet record.  In the NJSIAA Individual Championship Meet, Bill won the 100 Breaststroke and placed 3rd in the 200 IM.

    In his final year at Shore, Bill was the All Shore selection for the Breaststroke wining the event at the Monmouth County Meet as well as finishing 2nd in the Butterfly.  At the Shore Conference Championships, he won the 100 breaststroke and the 200 IM.  He ended his scholastic career at the NJSIAA Meet finishing 3rd in the breaststroke and 4th in the 200 IM.

    Upon graduation, Bill attended Rutgers University where he was the 200-yard Breaststroke record holder.  He placed 3rd in Big East Championships and was a Senior National Qualifier and competed at the US Open.

    Bill has a Masters in Engineering from NJIT and is a licensed landscape architect.
