    Sousa Name:  Taylor Sousa

    Grade:  12

Role Model: My role model is my older brother Thomas. He has inspired me to never give up and made me believe I could do anything I set my mind to. As a result, I feel more assertive, competitive and eager to learn and achieve as much as I can in life. I am always open to new challenges and always try to make an attempt at something rather then shying away and saying I cannot do it.

Teacher with the most impact:  Throughout my time at Shore Regional I have met a lot of inspiring and special people, including the many teachers that I have been able to meet. Mrs. Simonson has been my french teacher for 3 years now and it is always a pleasure to participate in her class. She is patient with students, charismatic and always has a positive mindset. Also, a teacher I look up to is Mr. Rankin (PE). He always has a great attitude and inspires students to be happy everyday. He is the type of teacher that always picks up students when they are down and makes their day better somehow.

What do you like most about Shore Regional? What I like the most about Shore Regional is that it is a small school. I know most of the people and I know that I am at a great place with amazing people. I also like that Shore Regional is very organized and has an awesome staff.

Activities:  Captain of the boys soccer team, Captain of the wrestling team, member of National Honor Society, member of French Club and International Club

Future Plans:  I plan on having a stable job that I enjoy going to everyday and plan to be happy. I also plan on giving back to my parents by helping them after they retire..

    Amado Name:  Victoria Amado

    Grade:  12

Role Model:  My parents are my role models as they have instilled in me the resilience and the ideals that have allowed me to prosper in my education and in life. The adversities that they overcame greatly influenced me in having the same hope and hunger in accomplishing my dreams.

Teacher with the most impact:  A teacher I feel that has had a significant impact on me is Mrs. Ensor. Her genuine care and concern rubs off on all her students. She has taught me more than just English or Theory of Knowledge, but also lessons on life and real world issues! Another teacher that has greatly impacted my education is Ms. Novak because of her passion and incredible teaching skills. I enjoyed every minute of Ms. Novak's history classes and could not be more grateful to have had her for two years!

What do you like most about Shore Regional? What I like best about Shore Regional High School is the endless support and opportunities that come with every day and every class. Every faculty member positively impacts the desire to learn and truly cares about the success of their students. This wholesome community and warm environment make it possible for students to thrive!

Activities:  I am currently captain of the Shore Regional Dance Team, a member of Student Council, and the National Honor Society.

Future Plans:  In ten years, I hope to see myself working for the United Nations or another international organization aiding in worldwide issues in need of action. I see myself happy and making the most of life.
