Role Model: My dad, he has always been there for me and shown that failures and successes are all a part of life and need to be taken and grown from.
Teacher with the most impact: Mr. Labush has had great impact on me as a student and a person. Mr. Labush has been able to make me think independently about real genuine problems in the world, and problems that go far above and beyond a small classroom. The subjects have felt very real and important and have impacted my life more than I could have imagined.
What do you like most about Shore Regional? I love the support each of the teachers offer to students that have many different needs, and that they truly care for the students' well-being.
Activities: National Honor Society, Students for Animal Welfare, Varsity Baseball, Varsity Football
Future Goals/Plans: I see myself being happy, healthy, and independent... on my feet in the business world with a steady job to better my life and the lives of those around me.
Personal Quote: “In three words I can sum up everything I've learned about life: it goes on.”

Brett Young is the complete gentleman, as well as the student in his group of 52 AP English Language students (Gr.11) who is unfailingly upbeat, considerate of other students, interested in the learning, respectful to the ideas and offerings of other students (and his teacher), and always exhibiting a great attitude and a balanced, excellent disposition for learning, be it individual or collaborative!
-- Mrs. Bahrs (English)
Brett is an extremely hard working student with outstanding character!!
-- Mrs. Sher (Spanish)
Role Model: My role model is my older sister Julia because she is so sure of her goals. She is so responsible and does everything she needs to do to make her ambitions a reality.
Teacher with the most impact: Mr. Labush, who I had for Sophomore English, Psychology in Film, and AP Psychology. He is a teacher that truly listens to his students and cares about what they are saying. He uses every hardship faced as a means to make himself better, which I really admire.
What do you like most about Shore Regional? The close-knit community! Being that Shore is a small school, I love that the students all know each other.
Activities: I am the Vice President of NHS and a member of Student Council and SAW club. I dance competitively at Movement Dance Academy. I also volunteer for and am a member of the Huntington's Disease Society of America.
Future Goals/Plans: I hope to have found a career that I love and, overall, be happy with my life and my decisions.
Personal Quote: "We should concern ourselves not so much with the pursuit of happiness, but more with the happiness of pursuit"-- Christpher Plummer (which is also my senior quote)
