    A.Aurilio Alyssa Aurilio

    Grade:  12

Role Model:  My role models are my parents. My parents have always pushed me to do my best in academics, sports and life. I hope to live my life with the same amount of perseverance and understanding as they do.

Teacher with the most impact:  All of the teachers I've had since freshman year have positively impacted me in their own way. Since freshman year, each teacher has pushed me to do my best and made me the hard worker I am today. The teachers that have impacted me most this year were my English teacher, Mrs. Ensor, and my AP Calculus teacher, Mrs. Mazza. Mrs. Ensor is one of the kindest teachers I have had and this kindness really makes a difference in class. She is patient and willing to help every student whether they are in her class or not. Mrs. Mazza’s enthusiasm for our success is the reason I really enjoy going to math class and feel confident in my abilities. Kindness and willingness to help all of their students are the qualities that have made these two teachers stand out in my mind.

What do you like most about Shore Regional?  One of my favorite things about going to Shore Regional is the comradery among the students and teachers. At Shore, you have so many opportunities in both sports and clubs. My dedicated coaches and my teammates have made these activities even better.

Activities:  I am currently involved in Interact, SAW (Students for Animal Welfare), Cheerleading and Golf.

Future Goals/Plans:  I see myself focusing on studying something in the fields of math and science and graduating college. I hope to pursue a career I enjoy and be on my way to success.

Personal Quote: "If everything was given to you, it wouldn't feel as good when you achieve it." -Annika Sorenstam
