    Jackie Shapiro Name:  Jackie Shapiro
    Grade: 11
Role Model:  It's difficult for me to pick only one role model in my life, but if I had to choose just one I would have to go with my mom. I know that choosing your mom is a classic choice, one that seems obvious, but maybe it's obvious for good reason. A mom is supposed to be the person her daughter looks up to. She's supposed to be the one leading her child through life and that is what my mom does for me. She has taught me how to be a smart, independent, and strong young woman and I truly can't thank her enough for that. She helped me become a person deserving of the title, Student of the Month.
Teacher with the most impact:   Mr. Labush is the teacher who has had the most impact on me. He was my Honors English teacher sophomore year and I can honestly say that I have never left any other class feeling so rewarded. Mr. Labush pushed me harder than I have ever been pushed and by no means was his class easy, but it was definitely a class worth taking. He made me realize that what I once thought was my best was really less than what I was able to do. He pulled my true best out of me and I am so thankful for that.
Activities:  I am a three varsity sport athlete. Right now I am in season for lacrosse, but I also play field hockey in the fall and basketball in the winter. I have also just become a member of the National Honor Society.
Future Goals/Plans:  Next fall I will be going to college, but it is still undecided as to where I am going. I'm interested in pursuing a career in psychology or law, but anyone who really knows me knows that I can easily be intrigued by something new.

     Max Walther Name:  Maximilian Walther
    Grade: 11
Role Model:  My role models are both of my parents. They always support me no matter what and their ambition and drive is something I find incredible and hope to match some day. They both taught me to always do my best and never give up, no matter the circumstances. I can’t thank them enough for all they’ve done for me.
Teacher with the most impact:   All of my teachers had a big impact for me but the ones that stand out the most are Mrs. Bahrs (English) and Mr. Mullarney (Chemistry). The books I was exposed to in my English class were extremely interesting and Mrs. Bahrs helped us obtain a deeper understanding of literature. Chemistry has always been my favorite subject and Mr. Mullarney strengthened my interest in the sciences and intentions to pursue a career in this field.
Activities:  I am on the Shore Swim Team and swim for a club team year round.
Future Goals/Plans:  I plan on attending a four year college and majoring in either Chemistry or Computer Science. Additionally, I would like to continue swimming for either a college or a club team.
