Head Coach:William WishartWWishart@shoreregional.orgCoach Wishart is entering his third year coaching the Girls Basketball program at Shore, after previously being apart of several boys programs throughout the Shore Conference. The past two seasons have been extremely exciting, as the team has gone deep into the Group I playoffs each time. He can't wait to continue on the path to success this season. In addition to his years of experience, Coach Wishart has brought energy, passion, and excitement to the program. His plan to Redesign, Rebuild and Reclaim the Girls Basketball Program has created a buzz around the Shore Regional Community. Coach Wishart is a graduate of Ocean Township High School and Muhlenberg College. He was a scholar athlete who was a member of the basketball team at both schools. He also completed his Masters in Education at Monmouth University and recently completed his certification in Educational Leadership from Montclair State University. Coach Wishart plans to instill qualities that will help his players succeed both on and off the court, in addition to wherever life may bring them in the future. During the off-season Coach Wishart enjoys going to the beach, playing golf, trying different types of pizza, and spending quality time with his family.Assistant Varsity Coaches:
Coach Barbarise (more commonly known as Coach B) is entering his third year coaching basketball at Shore Regional. He is a graduate of the University of South Carolina in 2009, where he studied Finance and Economics. Prior to that, he was a standout athlete in both basketball and baseball at Ocean Township High School. In addition to coaching for the Blue Devils, he has also been a coach for various AAU teams around the Jersey Shore. Currently he works for a commodities trading firm in Manasquan, NJ.Sara EnglishCoach English is entering her second year coaching basketball at Shore Regional. She graduated from Monmouth University in 2015 where she was also a 4 year member of the division 1 basketball program. During her time at school, she served as her teams captain at Monmouth during her junior and senior seasons. Coach English graduated from Monmouth University with her degree in teaching elementary education and special education. She is currently teaching 5th and 6th grade in Eatontown. She is also back at Monmouth where she is working towards earning her Master of Science in Special Education degree.Liz WestEWest@shoreregional.orgCoach West is entering her third season as the girls JV Coach after several years of being an assistant coach at Long Branch Schools. She is also a 6th grade science and 7th grade robotics teacher. She graduated from Shore Regional High School in 2010, where she played on the varsity basketball team all four years. She continued her basketball career for four years at The College of New Jersey. While attending TCNJ, she double majored in Elementary Education and Integrative-STEM. She is currently back at TCNJ in a graduate program for her Masters of Education in iSTEM.
