    February 2016
    Cassie Morales Name:  Cassidy Morales
    Grade: 12
Role Model:  My mom is my role model because she is a strong, smart, and independent woman.
Teacher with the most impact:  Mrs. Ensor, Mrs. Lavin, and Mr. Porta are the teachers that have impacted me the most during my time here at Shore Regional.  As my 'Theory of Knowledge' teacher, Mrs. Ensor taught me that my opinions matter, but so do the opinions of others. As my IB Art teacher, Mrs. Lavin taught me to never doubt myself and always keep creating. As my Physical Education teacher, Health teacher, and JV and Varsity softball coach, Mr. Porta taught me that the two most important things in any sport are attitude and effort, and good sportsmanship shines brighter than any trophy.
Activities:  Varsity Softball, S.A.W. (Students for Animal Welfare), Spanish Club
Future Goals/Plans:  I plan on attending college this fall and majoring in Digital Media & Communications.  My goal is to become a successful video/music producer and spend my life creating digital entertainment for the entire world to enjoy.

    Dan O'Neill Name: Daniel O'Neill
    Grade: 11
Role Model:  My role models are both of my parents.  My father served in the Navy which instilled in him the values which he passed on to me.  He bestowed the idea that I should never be at ease with my achievements and that there is no limit to what I can do.  For that, I am grateful. My mother completed graduate school in Computer Science and has taught me that no matter the commitment, whether it be academic, athletic, or anything else, it is my job to prepare and accomplish the goal to the best of my ability.  I highly admire and value these qualities and wish to carry them with me through my entire life.
Teacher with the most impact:  Mr. Labush, my teacher for English 2 Honors, has had the greatest impact on me due to the environment he created in his classroom. His love for literature and the length at which he went to impact those of us in the class made the course both formidable and demanding. This, however, was evenly balanced with humor and an outlook on the world unique to me at the time. What amazed me about his ability to teach and communicate was the connection of literature to the modern world that was so important to him. My ideas were finally able to be expressed both on paper and with the people around me. He taught me about life, which will impact me for years to come.
Activities:  I am a part of the cross country, indoor track, and outdoor track teams.
Future Goals/Plans:  I plan on attending a college immediately after Shore Regional and to study a science or engineering field.  This includes a Master's Degree with which I can find a job that I can make into a career and affect the world around me.
