Grade: 11
Role Model: My mom is my role model. She has raised me to be a confident, independent, and inquisitive person. I have inherited her sense of humor, which can add levity to any situation. I am thankful for everything that she has done for me. However, I am most thankful for the things that were not done for me as they allowed for me to grow independently. With her guidance, I have had those opportunities for growth.
Teacher with the most impact: Mr. LaBush (English) has had the most impact on me as a student. He pushed me to be the most hard working person and the best writer I could possibly be. Some of my greatest academic accomplishments stemmed from his classroom.
I have also learned a lot from Mrs. Burley (History). While I do learn quite a bit in my IB History class, Mrs. Burley taught me how to juggle in Study Hall. Learning to juggle was not easy, but it taught me a certain perseverance that resulted in an immense satisfaction. However, these two teachers are just some of the many memorable and influential teachers at Shore Regional.
Activities: I am currently an Interact officer. I am also a member of Students for Animal Welfare (SAW), the Great Books Group, and National Honor Society. Outside of school, I foster abandoned kittens through All Fur Love Animal Rescue. I also volunteer with various Oceanport Recreation events throughout the year.
Future Goals/Plans: I plan to continue my education after high school in an undergraduate program. From there, I will pursue an education in Medicine. I am primarily interested in Orthopaedic Surgery.
