A. Patton Name:  Alex Patton
    Grade:  11
Role Model:  My role model is my grandfather. He had taught me many essential life lessons. He was a very hard worker and a dedicated man. He also taught me that to grow you need to leave your comfort zone, which is something that I value. Most importantly he taught me that family is the key; he was at every event he could be at, cheering on his grandchildren that he was incredibly proud of. Family are the people that will always be there to support and guide you, therefore they are the people to hold closest.
Teacher with the most impact:  All of my teachers at Shore have made a huge impact on me. They all care deeply about education and I am very fortunate for them all. Freshman year, I had Mrs. Cook for honors biology. Her class was very difficult and she always pushed her students to reach their potential. I am grateful that Mrs. Cook pushed me so hard, it prepared me for the rest of my high school years. Ms. Bahrs (AP Language and Comp.) and Mrs. Burley (US History) both are very influential. They always bring a good attitude to the classroom, making learning enjoyable through a great environment. Every teacher I've had has helped ready me for the next level.
Activities: I am a part of the baseball team, swim team, stage crew, Great Books Group, and Interact Club
Future Goals/Plans: After I attend college and earn a degree, I want to become an astronaut. As ridiculous as it sounds, it has been a dream of mine since I was a little kid. Space has always intrigued me and I hope to one day make my childhood dream a reality.

    Mitchell Name:  Christine Mitchell
    Grade: 11
Role Model:  My role model would be my mother. Her strength and compassion has carried me through my whole life. It is her support that has pushed me out of my comfort zone and has gotten me to where I am now. Whatever crazy idea I come up with next, she's right behind me, encouraging me to do whatever makes me happy. She has guided me though the lowest points of my life and despite all of the frustrating challenges I've had, she's never left my side. It is the trust she has in me that keeps me going and inspires me to follow whatever dream I have.
Teacher with the most impact:  The teacher who has had the most impact on me would be Madame Simonson. I have known her ever since I was in fifth grade when I took a summer French class at Shore. Her energy and compassion towards her teaching is what makes her such an amazing person. She has been one of my biggest supporters and has been my mentor when I was going through a difficult time. She makes sure she comes to see very Shore Players production and nothing makes me happier than when I come out into the lobby after a show and see her waiting there. I thank her for being the wonderful person she is.
Activities:  I am a part of Shore Players, Interact and Culture Club
Future Goals/Plans:  My future goal is to go to a performing arts college and pursue a career in acting/theatre arts. I would like to continue singing on the side. I hope to go to school in New York as well as eventually live there.
