Elpidio Cruz Name: Elpidio Cruz
    Grade: 12
Role Model:  I'm not sure. I admire a lot of people equally. Both if I had to choose, it would have to be both of my parents. My mom and dad have done more in their lives than I will ever know and have definitely lived life to the fullest. They always push me to do better and are always there to congratulate me when I do something well. I strive to be like them, one step at a time.
Teacher with the most impact:  I would have to say all of them. Not to sound cheesy, but all teachers teach you something. They all showed me my strengths and weakness. I learned I was good at Math and History, and not so good at Physics and English. When the time comes for me to actually choose what I want to do, they made my job a whole lot easier.
Activities:  I go skiing almost every weekend and every Tuesday I go to X Factor Fitness.
Future Goals/Plans:  After graduation I plan to attend the University of Florida and major in Pre-law. From there I want to practice law in Florida and keep working until I either become a partner at a law firm or become a judge. Once I have earned enough money I want to buy a Nissan Gtr and a two story house in the countryside.

    Jesse McDonough Name:  Jesse McDonough
    Grade:  11

Role Model:      My role model would have to be Hope Solo. The fact that she is a professional soccer player and one of the best in the world is just icing on the cake. Her work ethic is incredible- she makes sure she works harder than anyone else, challenging herself everyday. This competitiveness and pressure she puts on herself is what has made her who she is today. Her focus is incredible as well; she knows what she wants-to be the best- and she is not afraid to let people know that. This is what I admire most about her.

    Teacher(s) with the most impact:
Ms. O'Neil, my middle school English teacher, has definitely had the most impact on me. She is full of life and just someone you want to be around! She put life into my writing, and I have much to thank her for how I write and express myself today. Most importantly though, she taught me how to live life- happy! I have accepted and learned from her that it's okay to make mistakes, and when things don't go your way, it happens for a reason. I have also learned how to laugh at myself, and that even though life is a serious matter, it shouldn't be taken TOO seriously.
Activities: Soccer, Interact, Junior Class, Treasurer, FOR club, Sports Involvement Club
Future Goals/PlansMy future plans involve doing what I love and being happy with my life. I plan to attend a college I love and play soccer there; I will still be working toward achieving my dream and playing professional soccer! After I retire from my soccer career, although it will be sad to leave, I plan to obtain my dream job of working in the forensics field (like csi!)!

I also have a favorite quote that pertains to soccer:
"Somewhere behind the athlete you've become and the hours of practice and the coaches that have pushed you is a little girl who fell in love with the game and never looked back...play for her" -Mia Hamm.
