Welcome to Shore Regional High School and the 2020-2021 school year!  I started teaching at SRHS in 2009, and I feel so lucky to be a part of such a wonderful community.  I graduated from Ocean Township High School in 2001 and received my Bachelor of Arts in Communication with a specialization in Public Relations from Loyola College in Maryland in 2005.  During my time as an undergraduate, I tutored, interned for ABC News in Manhattan, studied abroad in Melbourne, Australia and contributed to Loyola College's newspaper, The Greyhound
After graduation, and nearly two years of working in corporate public relations, I decided to return to school to pursue my true passion: education.  I began working at School for Children (now Hawkswood), a private special education school, and attending Monmouth University's Graduate School of Education.  I received my Master of Arts in Teaching Secondary English from Monmouth University in January 2009.  After two long-term substitute positions in the Marlboro Township public school district, I was thrilled to officially begin my teaching career here at Shore Regional High School.  During my time at Shore, I have coached the freshmen girls' soccer team and served as an adviser for both the student newspaper and the Interact Club.  I encourage you all to get involved in the wonderful extracurricular and athletic opportunities that Shore Regional offers to students.

I look forward to a great year!
